Apartment 9 and 3/4...

...This St Pancras penthouse is divine. And for sale.
To the lottery!

Sunglasses on...

A chapel conversion fit or a Barbie...
I jest, I really like what they've done architecturally, and fuchsia is my favourite colour, but I do feel a sort of desperation to take out all/some of the sharp colours, as the chapel is so light it seems too good an opportunity to fill it with dark objects, art and furniture that will really be appreciated.

Up-to-date...

I think this is one of the most successful Victorian terrace modernisation I've seen. It highlights all the original features and makes them look like modern art. It is also restrained with the glass extension (coming to really detest the glass box add on).
Australian planning laws seem to really champion good design, probably because they expect/demand so much residential space, so those dinky terraced have to be fiddled with in order to be sustainable. And as they are pretty much the oldest houses in the country they carry a sort of heritage grade listing. What ever the combination, Techne Architects Melbourne, it works.
