Flat envy...

This Berlin pied-à-terre was rescued from ruin by  landscape architect Guido Hager, who uses it as an art store/holiday home. I think it displays the perfect balance of period features and clean modern spaces, as neither is dominant or overwhelming and the result feels fresh and exciting, whilst being elegant and stately.

  1. Unlike the Brits, Europeans are never scared of putting modern pieces in heritage spaces! I'm especially intrigued by the photo of what looks like the Red Army in Berlin in the 3rd photo!
